The details matter
Your questions, answered.
Does every vehicle qualify?
No. The dealership must specifically designate the vehicle as eligible. Qualifying used vehicles must have less than 60,000 miles at purchase. Diesel-powered, highline/luxury, commercial, fleet, rental, government, emergency service, and for-hire vehicles are excluded. Ask us to confirm eligibility for your specific vehicle.
What does “Lifetime” mean for this program?
Coverage applies while the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle, subject to all terms. It automatically ends at 10 model years of age from the original in-service date or when the odometer exceeds 300,000 miles, whichever comes first. The maximum benefit is $10,000 in total across all claims. It is not unlimited coverage.
Is this a manufacturer warranty?
No. This is a dealership-provided warranty offered at no additional charge on qualifying vehicles. It is not a manufacturer's warranty, vehicle service contract, or mechanical breakdown insurance policy.
Can I transfer it when I sell or trade?
No. Coverage is non-transferable and ends immediately upon sale, trade, transfer, repossession, or assignment of ownership.
Are off-road use, modifications, and towing covered?
Failures caused by off-road use, racing, speed contests, or operation beyond manufacturer specifications are excluded. Vehicles with unauthorized aftermarket parts, performance enhancements, tuning devices, lifts, oversized tires, or engine modifications are excluded, as are vehicles used for towing without a factory-installed tow package.

Eligibility
Available only on qualifying new vehicles and qualifying used vehicles with less than 60,000 miles on the odometer at purchase. Coverage is available only to the original retail purchaser and only on vehicles specifically designated by the dealership as eligible. Highline/luxury vehicles, diesel-powered vehicles, commercial-use vehicles, fleet vehicles, and vehicles used for rideshare, taxi, limousine, delivery, or other for-hire services are not eligible.
Covered engine parts and benefit limit
Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of defective internally lubricated engine parts contained within the engine block and cylinder heads. Covered parts include pistons, piston rings, connecting rods, crankshaft, camshaft, timing gears, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, lifters, push rods, bearings, and other internally lubricated components as determined by the dealership or warranty administrator.
External engine components, gaskets, seals, hoses, belts, sensors, electrical components, fuel system components, cooling system components, turbochargers, superchargers, fluids, filters, and normal wear-and-tear items are not covered. The maximum aggregate benefit is $10,000 for the entire term, across all claims.
Maintenance requirements
Have the vehicle inspected and serviced according to the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule in the Owner's Manual. Retain all verifiable maintenance receipts and repair orders, including customer name, repair order number, service date, VIN, odometer reading, and a complete description of services, parts, and materials used. Failure to perform required maintenance, maintain proper fluid levels, or provide acceptable maintenance records may result in denial of coverage and void the warranty.
Exclusions
- Commercial, fleet, rental, taxi, limousine, delivery, government, emergency service, or rideshare vehicles.
- Highline/luxury vehicles (examples in the warranty include Audi, Porsche, BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, and VW) or diesel-powered vehicles.
- Vehicles modified with unauthorized aftermarket parts, performance enhancements, tuning devices, lifts, oversized tires, or engine modifications.
- Damage from neglect, abuse, misuse, overheating, lack of lubrication, contaminated fluids or fuel, collision, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, acts of nature, or environmental damage.
- Failures caused by racing, speed contests, off-road use, or operation beyond manufacturer specifications.
- Vehicles used for towing without a factory-installed tow package.
- Pre-existing conditions or failures that existed before purchase.
- Repairs performed without prior written authorization when authorization is required.
- An odometer that has been changed, altered, or ceases to function.
Term and transferability
Coverage remains in effect while the original purchaser owns the vehicle, subject to the warranty terms. Coverage automatically terminates when the vehicle reaches 10 model years of age from its original in-service date or exceeds 300,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first. This is not a new 10-year term starting at your purchase date.
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser listed on the purchase agreement. Coverage terminates immediately on sale, trade, transfer, repossession, or assignment of vehicle ownership.
Liability and inspection
Liability is limited solely to repair or replacement of covered defective parts, with a maximum cumulative liability of $10,000 in aggregate for all claims during the coverage term. The dealership and warranty administrator are not liable for incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including towing, rental vehicles, lodging, meals, lost wages, loss of use, inconvenience, diminished value, or related expenses.
The dealership and/or warranty administrator may inspect the vehicle and any failed component before authorizing repairs. Failure to allow inspection may result in denial of coverage.
Program disclaimer
This dealership-provided Lifetime Engine Warranty is provided at no additional charge. It is not a vehicle service contract, mechanical breakdown insurance policy, or manufacturer's warranty. The dealership may amend, modify, or discontinue the program for future vehicle sales at any time; changes will not affect valid coverage already issued to qualified purchasers.
